Number of MBBS seats increases from 500 to 1,100 in GMCs of JK

Jammu, October 24 The number of MBBS seats in government medical colleges (GMCs) in Jammu and Kashmir has increased from 500 in 2018-19 to 1,100 seats for the current academic session 2020-21, an official spokesman said. In this regard, the health and medical education department has got a letter of permission (LoP) from the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the GMC Doda to admit 100 MBBS students for this academic session.
